Dr. Shayan Khan, DDS, MPH
Dr. Shayan Khan is a highly skilled and energetic general dentist who brings over a decade of clinical experience to the patients of Wharton Family Dentistry. Known for his lighthearted personality, attention to detail, and ability to put patients at ease, Dr. Khan is passionate about making dentistry feel approachable, comfortable, and personal for every individual he treats.
He provides a comprehensive range of services including dental implants, root canal therapy, braces, clear aligners, crowns, bridges, extractions, and complete smile makeovers. His clinical philosophy blends modern techniques with a conservative, patient-first approach — ensuring each patient receives thoughtful, customized care tailored to their needs.
Dr. Khan completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Maryland and later earned a Master of Public Health degree from Benedictine University, reflecting his strong commitment to preventive care and long-term oral health.
Dr. David A Tripulas, DDS
A Texas Tech undergraduate, Dr. Tripulas received his DDS from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch. He completed a general practice residency at the VA hospital and taught pharmacology at Wharton County Junior College of Dental Hygiene. Dr. Tripulas maintains professional memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Texas Dental Association (TDA), and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
To offer patients the highest quality care, Dr. Tripulas continues to advance his skills and has completed a fellowship with the AGD. He was awarded Mastership from the AGD in 1993. Active in the community, Dr. Tripulas has served on several local boards and remains committed to serving families throughout Wharton.

Dr. John R Kieler has proudly served patients in the Wharton community for many years. Known for his steady hand, thoughtful approach, and dedication to patient comfort, Dr. Kieler values building long-term relationships with the families he treats.
With extensive clinical experience in preventive, restorative, and general dentistry, Dr. Kieler focuses on providing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. He believes in clear communication, conservative care, and delivering results that promote lasting oral health.
